My wife and I were looking to buy a new boat. We met with Rob the owner of blue water boats who showed us his inventory. At no time did he pressure us to buy anything and told us to think about what we wanted, and if we had any questions to please feel free to contact him. We finally decided on a new 19.8 center console. We wanted a T top installed and also wanted a special bunk trailer made. Rob handled all the details and had a custom T Top fabricated and installed and a custom trailer built for our boat. Rob and his wonderful staff had all this work done and ready for delivery in a week. The day before delivery Rob had my new boat detailed by professional boat dealers and filled my boat with all the essential equipment needed by the coastguard. I will also say the equipment wasn't the cheap stuff other dealers give you but top-quality equipment I would have purchased myself. When it came to financing my boat Jill (the girl Friday) was able to get me best finance rate and handled all the paperwork. Rob personally came out on our sea trial and explained all there was to know about our new boat and also programed my Garmin and Radio for us. He took his time and explained how to use the chart plotter and sonar, and the Yahana engine app on the Garmin. He stayed with us for as long as we needed him, and he made sure we understood everything before he left us. I purchased a Rhodan trolling motor from RobinMarch of 2023 after talking to several other dealers who each had a different idea of how to position and install one on my 26 foot walk around. Rob had the best design ideas, was very attentive to my concerns and his staff did an excellent job on the installation. The trolling motor performed well all season and Robs design was a game changer for me, resulting in a more efficient and productive fishing season as a result. Recently, my SeaStar steering developed a bad leak. Having done service with Rob before, I went straight to him and, sure enough, he had the parts I need right on the shelf. The SeaStar caps require a special wrench. Thankfully, Rob lent me his wrench! Most places would probably tell me to bring the boat to them. Rob and his staff are super knowledgeable and do great work. It's hard to find a shop that you can trust. I will always take my boat to Bluewater.

I recently bought a used Grady White from a seller nearby. Being in California it wasn't practical for me to see the boat through the process of surveying and repairs. Rob at Blue Water did some repairs for the seller but also did a great job communicating with me as the potential buyer. He inspected the boat, did an engine diagnostics report, made repairs, took me on a water test of the boat, fitted a trailer for it and stored it while I waited for the shipper. He sent me photos throughout and answered all my cross country questions and concerns. I can't say enough about his honesty and integrity through the month long process and all his work was top notch. He went above and beyond and it's good to see there are still people like Rob out there who earn trust the old fashioned way through hard work and honesty.
